About Myself

As a student and an employee, I have always been a voracious learner eager to improve

In Junior College, I independently learnt in a week to code a game using Swift for my successful application for Apple’s WWDC Scholarship, allowing me to attend their annual developer conference.

In National Service, I initiated projects to automate processes that reduced their processing times by up to 90%, freeing up time to focus on other operations. As I gained real-world experience defending Singapore by working in a Security Operations Center (SOC), I wanted to gain exposure to offensive security. Hence, I independently pursued and attained the OSCP certification as well as participated in several CTFs.

Throughout this period, I remained passionate about building software to make our lives better and learning from one another

In SUTD, I joined ROOTech to work on tech solutions for the student community in SUTD. One project I did was to eliminate the need to manually verify eligible participants for the lucky draw and smoothened the flow of the entire event. I’m proud to have received the ROOT-SAC Appreciation Award and have continued to mentor juniors in the capacity of a Senior Director (e.g. slides made to introduce Git).

Simultaneously, I served as the Vice-President (Tech) of SUTD’s Digital Design & Development Club (3DC). I worked closely with other members to start a Cybersecurity focused sub-division and host training sessions/events.

I believe the best technology works so seamlessly that users forget that it exists

That’s my ethos when applying knowledge I learnt in SUTD’s project-intensive curriculum.

As I continuously improve myself, I hope to keep building software solutions that empower people to focus on what truly matters without compromising their security.
